About us

Pegasus was the dream of Hans Uriot, 35 years ago, when he made a move away from the corporate world of accounting. He slowly grew from a one man business, repping and dispatching all his orders from home. He began by importing toy ranges such as James Galt from the UK, and slowly sourced more ranges each year.

Today the business has expanded to a variety of suppliers from many countries in Europe, the far East, India and Japan. We now have many different ranges, concentrating on the better quality educational toys and games available from all over the world. Many of our suppliers have granted us the exclusive privilege of distributing their toys in the southern African region.

We maintain a friendly and personal relationship with all our suppliers and customers, many of whom have been with us from the inception of the business.
