About Us

Pegasus was the dream of Hans Uriot, 20 years ago, when he made a move away from the staid world of Accounting. He slowly grew out of his spare room at home, progressing to different premises dotted around Cape Town. At present the business is housed in Ottery in the Southern suburbs of the city.

Hans began by importing toy ranges such as James Galt from the UK, and personally travelled the country distributing his toys to the independent market. Today the business has expanded to a variety of suppliers from many countries in Europe, the far East, India and America. We now have 22 different ranges, concentrating on the better quality toys and educational games available in the trade. Many of our suppliers have granted us the exclusive privilege of distributing their toys in the southern African region.

We maintain a friendly and personal relationship with our suppliers and customers, many of whom have been with us from the inception of the Pegasus Toys.
